COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Despite persistent trade rumors involving several frontliners, the Chicago Blackhawks played one of their best road games of the season.
Patrick Sharp scored on a third-period breakaway to give the Blackhawks a 3-1 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday night.

"We had tons of chances," Columbus winger Rick Nash said. "When you're hot you're hot, and when you're not, you're not."

Columbus had an excellent chance to tie the game with a minute and a half left. Nikolai Zherdev left a drop pass for Sergei Federov , who blistered a shot from the boards that stunned Anderson. The puck inched between Anderson's leg pads while he searched for it, but he was able to recover and smother it.

Hey Blueandwhite girl...wasn't trying to Blast ya...just needed someone to post on my Blue Jacket Forum ...and you bleed white and blue...soooo... I took the cheap shot, just to get a few words out of you...sure, blow the penalty whistle on me...game misconduct and all...guilty as charged (kinda)...and for the record, nope...I really don't get mad at them...l like to stay up beat...but than again, they are a young team...

PS I like having Fedorov...you got your Aging Hall of Famers...I got Fedorov...kinda the same...we just want to grow up to be like the Leafs...

(ain't forgiveness devine... )...Glad you asked...He was hot in Jan...with 4 goals and 12 assists including back to back 4 and 3 point nights...but I think his value is really to be a Big Brother for Zherdev...

I don't think Federov played in the Olympics. Imagine a line with Federov, Kovalev and Ovechkin ... nice.

So ... you seem like a Columbus expert, what's up with Nash ? I have him in my fantasy draft and he is getting negative results a lot recently ... what gives ? Where's the stud ?

Vladman, Nash was hampered by an ankle injury in November ...but since his then his numbers are on par with last year 17 goals in only 34 games...or a goal every 2 games...as compare to his 41 over 80 games last year...and his assists are up...on the other hand his power play goals are down...is a young player thing....but hey, just the fact that he made your team makes you an Honorary Co-Captain of the Forum man
