[Gotham Dark Knight]

Okay so I was looking at the Blue Jacket schedule to see what kind of Promotions my newly adopted team is running...and I came across this one:

March 19th against the Ducks:
UDF Homemade Brand Premium Ice Cream Poster Series Giveaway #2 (Rick Nash)
AND
Special Appearance by Spiderman and The Hulk

I mean is that cool or what?...Spidy and Hulk...I mean what kid wouldn't want to be at the game?...right?...Hell, I want to go meet Spidy and Hulk and get my Nash poster...but then again, I am easily excited. Anyone's Hockey team got a cooler promotion going?...yeah thought so...you don't. Can't beat Spidy and Hulk now can you?...that's right we got big bad superhero's and your team don't...and that's part of the reason I am backing the Blue Jackets this season.

If only the team were as good as its promotions. The Red Wings schedule would have eight more games of interest on it.

Statistics show that what a team spends on promotional is inversely proportional to how many wins it gets...well okay, so I am making it up...but hey, you failed to name a better promo than Hulky and Spidy...you know why?...cause they ain't any...that's why

Well, here I am, Gotham, somebody HELP!!!, is this the right thread or am I in the wrong place? This is the first thread I came across about the Blue Jackets, at least the first one that said Blue Jackets! I know I'm out of my element, but I'm here to learn, who's teaching?

Well you should start with the Sticky Posts (mostly cause I put time into them and....well I have an ego )...

But here is your first lesson ...repeat after me....the Blue Jackets are soooo much better than the Islanders and those poor old Maple Leafs (don't be swayed by Pundit and blueandwhite girl on this!)...

Also, when all else fails,blurt out..."Yes, but if Nash hadn't been injured he would have score 50 goals"...or..."That kid Zherdev looks like the real thing!"...Those two sentences alone will make you sound like a Blue Jacket fan...(more to follow)...

I know those names: Pundit and blueandwhitegirl, they seem to know what they're talking about in their posts, I've been reading. Hey everybody, I'm kinda new to hockey, as in it's been years since I followed it, in fact I'll go ahead and say it: when I did follow hockey, I was rooting for the Flyers. Go easy on me, please!

Hey now Yatesie, I am not saying anything they don't already know...both of their teams are out of the playoffs and blueandwhite girl keeps complaining of the old players Toronto seems to keep getting...I am just trying to steer you clear of franchises that are not...shall we say...as promising as the Blue Jackets...kinda of a curtesy...

Why you dirty Gotham Dark knight - I knew i shouldn't have trusted a man who wears tights.
The leafs, though they have a record of bringing old players here to die (thanks very much for Luke Richardson), have quite a young exciting roster in place and next year ONLY looks promising.
Keep your options open, is all I say, Team yates - there's a world of teams out there and many wise sages to guide you.
