Okay boys and girls, I am adopting the Columbus Blue Jackets as my hockey franchise...never mind that I am a Bruins fan...Columbus needs some love and attention...and I like challanges...so come one, come all...lets get it on...

Okay, as far as Columbus goes, I am going to follow this kid Nikolai Zherdev.... try to get a buzz going on him...The kid netted his 20th and 21st goals in a losing effort to the Kings today...but hey, he's young...doesn't turn 22 til november...and I mean he went 1st round 4th overall in 2003...had a good start with 34 points in the 2003-04 season, in 57 games...and then that little hockey break happened last year, so he enters his second year now...

So, hey, if you know the kid...if you are walking down the street and run into him...if you run into his kin at the grocery...I want to know about...whatever tid bid you have post it...I think the kid's got potential...he was hot going into the Olympics with 4 goals in 6 February games...and has 2 in the last 2 games since...lets get a Zherdev watch going now....
