After holding a 2-0 at the end of the 2nd period, the Columbus Blue Jackets faded badly and lost to the Canucks 2-3 in OT.

Mark Hartigan got a goal and an assist in extensive playing timedue to injuries to Fedorov or Svitov. The two Russians are expected to be out for 3-4 more games.

We did get good play from goalie Pascal Leclaire, who faced 44 shots on goal

I'm with you on that, wishing the game ended after two periods thing.
I love the stats that come out after a few games on the teams that most blow it in the final period.

I think when your team is missing two centers you are going to tire out badly in the three period...plus there was an Overtime...

Without the injuries, I think they would take the opener... ...but maybe they will "do a Leafs" and score 6 goals in their next game.
