The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed centre Derick Brassard to a US$12.8-million, four-year contract extension.
The 22-year-old native of Gatineau, Que., scored 10 goals and added 15 assists in 31 games last season before a dislocated shoulder in December benched him for the remainder of the year.
