The Colorado Rockies officially sold out all of their World Series tickets for Games 3, 4 & 5 on Tuesday. This is even after the computer system to order tickets crashed earlier in the week.
The Rockies said they sold over 50,000 tickets in less than 2 1/2 hours. However, perhaps most important to the play of the team itself, "[Rockies spokesperson] Alves said that over 80 per cent of the 12,000-plus transactions completed Tuesday were made by people with Colorado zip codes."
That's good news.
