Rockies Reach 1st NLCS in History

The Colorado Rockies swept the Philadelphia Phillies this morning to advance to their first NLCS in franchise history. The series win also marked the first playoff series win in franchise history.

The Rockies won, 2-1 in 9 innings. Manny Corpas had another save. The Rockies rallied with three 2-out singles in the bottom of the eighth to take the lead.

Congrats to the Rockies who haven't lost a game in over two weeks.

Wow, Colorado sure got hot at the right time. It's like Charlie Manuel told reporters after yesterday's game: "They are on one of the most amazing streaks I have seen a team have at the end of the season." And you have to wonder if this club really, truly can make it all the way to the World Series.
