Rockies injury updates
Injured Rockies pitcher Rodrigo Lopez will undergo surgery to repair a torn flexor tendon on his right arm on August 22, the team has announced. Meanwhile, lefty Brian Fuentes pitched a scoreless inning in a rehab appearance for Class AAA Colorado Springs on Friday. He threw nine pitches, allowing one hit and striking out a batter.
