| Coors Field rainout The Dodgers and Rockies game at Coors Field on Friday was rained out.
Why is this a big deal? Because it's the first time since 2004 that a game in Colorado has been rained out. There was a snow-out in April 2005, but rain is apparently a rarity in Denver. In fact, it's not often the Rockies suffer rain outs of any kind, home or away, this late in the season. According to the Associated Press, "This is only the third time in team history the Rockies have had a game postponed in July, and first since July 16, 2000, against Oakland." How about that?
