| Rockies rebound from consecutive shutouts After being shut out in back-to-back games by the Washington Nationals (the first time that had happened to the Rockies since 2003), Colorado rebounded with a 7-5 win over the Padres on Monday. They rallied from a three-run deficit in the 8th inning thanks to homers by Matt Holliday and Brad Hawpe to earn the victory. One thing's for sure: the Rockies are a tough team to figure out, given that they can beat good teams and get shut out by lousy ones.
