Buffs hosting Gridiron Bash
Colorado football coach Dan Hawkins is a huge music fan. Perhaps the next band he endorses on his weekly blog will be one formed in Berkeley, Calif., in the early 1990s.

CU officials are combining music with Hawkins' football program this spring by inviting renowned alternative rock band Counting Crows to perform at Folsom Field on April 18, the day before the annual spring game.
