This game is about to start in about 1/2 hour on ESPN. I read an article earlier this week where Buffaloes coach Dan Hawkins stated that he is not worried about job security. He seems to think that the Athletic Director and President are on his side. We will see about that? I personally expect him to be fired by the end of the year. Just a guess.

The Cowboys have been playing lights out lately and should take care of the Buffaloes with no problem tonight.

Prediction: Cowboys 44 Buffaloes 17

Crazy game with the Cowboys just scoring to now in a see-saw battle to make it: Ok St 31 Colorado 28 with less than 8 minutes left. Game could go to the wire? I am now rooting for the Buffaloes who I gave no shot in this game.

Yeah, that was a bad prediction but the Cowboys do hang on to win 31 -28. I have always said I would never make it as a handicapper. One of the big reasons I joined this site was to stay away from football gambling.

I have read that Colorado would have to pay about $4.5million to but out Dan Hawkins contract, perhaps that is why he feels he will be back next year.

You are absolutely right my friend desertrat! However, from some of the sources I have heard from the boosters are more and willing to cough up the money needed to get rid of Hawkins if this is the decision made at the end of the year. My guess he is gone.

Attendance is way down, Hawkins has actully recruited pretty well but a horrible coach and Buffaloes are sick of losing would be the major play here. Yes, I agree the Buffaloes current budget would not allow a buy out of Hawkins contract but boosters do have a lot of money if they are willing to spend it???

Been looking at this for awhile they have good fans but its a risky move and losing is a major downer they miss back in the day were they were gooda and they do have the money believe me but the athletic director has yet to make any sudden moves.
