Texas hasn't budged in the Top 25 since the preseason poll was released. If the Longhorns can keep it that way through the rest of the regular season, they would have a good chance of playing for the national championship.

Ranked second for the sixth straight poll, the Longhorns continue their quest for their second national title in five years as they host Big 12 rival Colorado on Saturday night.

Texas (4-0, 1-0) has justified its preseason No. 2 ranking with its third consecutive 4-0 start. The Longhorns, the only undefeated team in the Big 12 South, have won by an average of 34.3 points and remain on track for a shot at their first title since going 13-0 in 2005.

I like the Longhorns pretty easily here. Both teams are coming off of bye weeks and should be well rested with new game plans. Very important game for the Buffaloes as they could potentially start out 1-5 on the season with a loss here. One possible advantage for the Buffaloes: Forecast for Saturday is snow and cold weather which may bother those warm weather Longhorns.

Important game for the Longhorns who have National Championship aspirations. Longhorns are the better team by far here. Anybody give the Buffaloes a shot at the upset here?

Colorado is not a good team, but that is par for the course so far for Texas opponents. If Texas wins by less than 4 TDs, I'll be surprised.

I agree totally deserrat, however, the temperatures are dropping like a rock up here in Colorado and expecting snow with high temperatures for Saturday in the low 30s. Sometimes in adverse weather conditions such as what is expected, the best team doesn't always win. So many variables involved here though. The Buffaloes are so bad this year it may not make any difference.

It is in Texas...LOL I think it was getting late last night and lost my thought desertrat. Buffaloes have no shot and please disregard my statement concerning weather being a factor.
