Colorodo the Great!

Look at this team now. They have Salei, Foot, Foresburg, Smith, Sakic, Stastny and Liels I think. Now that is a great team. They just need some goaltending.

Re: Colorodo the Great!

I'm not so sure. With Forsberg and Foote, I think they are trying to flashback to 1997.

Maybe I'm just bitter at Forsberg, but I just don't think he is truly ready to play. He sure doesn't sound like it from the interviews I have read.

When asked if he is ready to play, his response is "I think so".

He needs to do better than think so.

Still, he isn't costing them much, but I know from his being here, that it is a big distraction with all the drama over will he or won't he play.

I give him all the respect in the world for being at one time the best player in the NHL. And he does seem to be very genuine, but he adds a lot of drama without really intending to.

I am very curious to see how this plays out.

Yeah, I find myself agreeing with Phils on this one. Last week, Forsberg wasn't ready to play. This week, he is? I'm not buying it.

It will remain a mystery until he decides to play. Is he better?
I think he is. He has had a year to rest.

Re: Colorodo the Great!

Again Colorado shows why they're the Yankees of Hockey as they pick-up an All-Star roster that probably won't deliver in the stacked full Western Conference.

They've pulled the dame thing before and couldn't seal the deal, now their star players are a little bit older and the West is stronger then ever.

This team won't be Cup Champions.

Re: Colorodo the Great!

After all this time off, Forsberg is holding a press conference at the game tonight, but not playing.

I'm pretty glad he didn't come to Philly now. If the Flyers were playing tonight, and he didn't play, I'd be furious. If you wanna hold a press conference, do it at your locker after the game.

WOW...

Does he need a Press Conference though? Maybe he should I dunno.... play?

Putting some points on the board would be a sure fire way to tell people that you're back.

Imagine that. Like I said earlier, he's been off a long time. One would think he would be eager to show he is worth that 1.1 mil he is making for about six weeks of work.
