Sakic back at practice

Colorado captain Joe Sakic returned to the ice yesterday, as did Ryan Smyth and Paul Stastny. They say Sakic went through a light skate. The other two both participated in a full practice, with Stasney questionable for tonight's game and Smyth possibly due back by the end of the week.

Re: Sakic back at practice

woo hoo.
how could it be bad to have Sakic and smyth back? Plus Stastny who seems recovered from his appendix operation.
so they are 6th in their conference, but only 3 points behind the Wild to take over tops in their division.
Their W-L is good, but how do you compete with Detroit's number in that conference?
Anyway, Colorado will get a much needed boost now, and even better when Sakic returns next week.

Re: Sakic back at practice

Sixth in their conference without these guys. With them? I definitely think they'll give the Wings a run for their money from here on out.
