| Avalanche move into first-place With a win over Columbus yesterday, the Colorado Avalanche have moved into a first-place tie in the Northwest Division. According to the Associated Press, "Jose Theodore made 26 saves, and the Avalanche got a goal and an assist from two of the six first-year players in the lineup to beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 3-1 on Sunday night... Ben Guite, Tyler Arnason and rookie Jeff Finger each had a goal, and Ian Laperriere had two assists for the Avalanche, who split the four-game season series with Columbus." | Re: Avalanche move into first-place theodore is up and down, but he's up right now. he's 12-10 and 2 with a 2.44 GAA. not bright and shiny, but the Avs are making it work for them. they've had some major losses in terms of manpower too so who would have thought? |
