Fresno St. beats Nevada in home opener

Fresno St. beat Nevada in its home opener, 28-19, showing it as the front runner in the WAC. Nevada showed a decent defense in the first quarter, holding the Bulldogs to a touchdown for three trips into the red zone. The heat finally got to the Wolfpack defense and started to allow scoring. After the sun went down, Nevada's offense started to come back, making the score 21-19 at the begining of the fourth quarter. The Bulldogs put together a long, scoring drive in the last period to cement the deal. Nevada tried to come back to score, but, got stopped by allowing the only QB sack of the game.
