It feels good to be King , even though it's only after two weeks. Boston College's upset beat me.

The rest of the pack is only two-three points behind though. Competition will be tight this pick'em season.

Re: College Football Pick'Em League

Man, am I having some problems this week. I haven't seen Auburn play, but I have seen LSU and they are pretty good. It's also kinda hard to bet against Miami(FL). They have a way of coming up and biting you in the hind quarters.

Here's a dumb question, or a couple. How are the group points determined and how will the winner of the league be picked?

Also a bit of trivia: My team is the SLT Tessies. Lake Tahoe is one of the deepest lakes in North America. If it were drained, the water there can supply all of CA with water for a year. Tessie is the mythological creature that lives in the lake, kinda like the Loch Ness Monster.

Re: College Football Pick'Em League

The pick em will finally get intersting this week without so many obvious picks. There will be a lot more favorites losing this week than previously.

Re: College Football Pick'Em League

The winner will be the person who has the most points/correct picks at the end of the season. If there's a tie, there are some tiebreakers but I'm not sure what.

Re: College Football Pick'Em League

Dang ND got drilled so far.
I knew Michigan would win. That game had upset written all over it. Once again I went with the ratings instead of my gut feeling.

Might miss the Miami game too.

Go Sooners, LSU Tigers, Vols, FSU , 'Canes.

All correct so far. Games aint over.

You guys went against the Vols again?????

Re: College Football Pick'Em League

Nailed everything but the Oregon-Oklahoma game so far. Figures this is the first week I picked OU to win, and its the one they lose. Typical. Looks like I'm going to drop Texas Tech-TCU too, unless Tech scores one late. I've got Nebraska over USC tonight too; bit of a gamble, but I've got a gut feeling...

Re: College Football Pick'Em League

Ouch! I missed four games this week. I had Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Florida State and Texas Tech winning.

However, I'm still leading the group

Re: College Football Pick'Em League

If I remember correctly, the only upset pick I made for this week was Michigan State upsetting Notre Dame.

That should be an interesting game.

Re: College Football Pick'Em League

i got msu also, im also going to the well again and takin penn state, i dont belive in osu's defense, there offense i think is leathel and troy smith is no longer the pat white of the world where he runs for everything. He has shown this year he is now a solid QB

Re: College Football Pick'Em League

So much for my upsets this week! I knew I kinda goofed with Kentucky and Hawaii, But I was sure MSU was a shoo in. Also, who woulda thunk BC would have lost. I hate missing out on four points! Did everyone else pick BC so I don't feel like a complete idiot?

Re: College Football Pick'Em League

I missed on Michigan State and Boston College, too - and apparently I picked ASU to beat Cal. Sure don't remember doing that, though. What was I thinking? Was I medicated at the time?
