I am VERY curious to hear how you think Nebraska schedule is that much stronger than Tech's???
Did you bother to look at the two links I provided? The computers make those rankings, not me. Let me break it down a little:

Take a look at the non conference teams Tech played: Eastern Michigan (Div 1-aa), Nevada (5-4 WAC), SMU (1-9, dead last in C-USA), and UMass (2 Div 1-aa teams?). Nebraska non conference schedule was Western Michigan (8-2, winning the MAC), San Jose State (6-4, WAC) , Virginia Tech (6-3, ACC) and New Mexico State (3-6, WAC). As for conference games, Nebraska played 2 of the top 6 teams on the road (Oklahoma and Texas Tech) and also played 13th ranked Missouri. Conference games are a push, even though Texas Tech has yet to play a ranked team away from home (this happens when they go to Norman in 2 weeks). Clearly Nebraska's non-conference games are far more impressive than Texas Tech's non-conference games...to deny this would cause you to lose credibility.

At the end of the day... only one stat remains who is undefeated. Computers can only calculate numbers which are biased by the people putting them into the computer. Computers cannot account for hostile environments or bitter rivalries. Computers cannot account for injuries both physical and emotional. Computers cannot gauge the human spirit that creates leadership and willpower to dominate. Bottom line the computer can calculate wins and losses.

That is why we have the AP, Harris , Coaches polls. The Bull Crap System is broken we need a playoff system to settle this problem on the gridiron.

I never thought I would see SEC fans support a playoff since SEC teams seem to always get a free pass into the current system title game. A playoff would be perfect in the fact that it would no longer penalize the one loss teams that play much tougher non-conference games while ending the reward to teams that refuse to play anyone decent out of conference. (Texas Tech's non-conference schedule is pathetic and has been for years)

SEC fans have always advocated a playoff system. We figure it would come down to two SEC teams anyway.

The truth is that a playoff would prevent us from ever again having to watch an overrated Big 10 team getting soundly beat in a game they had no business playing in the first place. It also would mean USC and Florida would play each other for the title this year because they are the most talented teams, and they both tend to dominate postseason games.

An overated USC team would be beaten soundly by any of the top five teams. It would come down to Texas Tech and Alabama. You will see when Alabama takes Florida down how the SEC champ looks.

Stoney do you think JPW is a better QB than Tebow? Florida is going to beat Bama and Bama will play Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl.

You should do stand up comedy because you make me laugh with almost every post.

On another note, I found this story on ESPN and it really makes me wonder about some of you SEC fans.

I don't claim those tiger fans. Seems like a similar thing happened last year during the SEC championship. Or maybe I am thinking it was while watching a nascar race.

This is more than a dispute over football. I hate it when anybody takes things too far. Brewton is near Atmore where I have a farm. This tradgedy will be felt by the community for a while.

It was actually the LSU fans that were killed by an Alabama fan. Some people need to take a closer look at what's important in life.....these people were supposed to actually be friends. It's a tragedy no matter who the victim is.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it just last year some high school football game resulted in the same kind of tragedy somewhere else in Alabama?

JPW will never play in the pros. Tebow may be a #1 pick personally I would love to see him go to Carolina.
