| Re: ABC Primetime Games SEC games are scarce for everyone not living in the south, they are contracted with CBS and ESPN for nationally televised games, locally they are all aired on the syndicate Jefferson Pilot Sports, and I don't know of anyone North of the Mason-Dixon line or west of the Mississippi that has this on their cable package, unless of course you purchase ESPN Game Plan.
I would think there would be plenty of ACC games for west coasters to watch. They are a mainstay on Thursday nights and Saturday noon games on the deuce, not too mention how many primetime games they play.
This reminds me of when I was in Vegas for like the fifth week of the 2005 season. With the three hour time difference I wasn't positive I would be out of bed for the 9am kickoff time for The OSU-Iowa game. Sure enough I flip to ABC in my hotel room and a third rate Tom & Jerry is on, is this common on the west coast where you miss east coast football games for the benefit of cartoons? That would drive me nuts. |
