From what I have seen (youtube video) the kid is a real stud. I think he made a great choice - the SEC doesn't have a lock on studs. I would have loved to see him at UGA but.........

I'm not sure but I think most SEC schools realized early on he wanted to stay close to home - no issue here.

So you are saying that it doesn't matter that they make it to the championship game. Players would rather not have a chance to win a title? OSU puts there team in a position to win. Yes they ran into better teams two years in a row, but as a fan I was ecstatic they had the opportunity. I bet part of his choice was the fact that he will get a chance to win here than anywhere else.

im not saying it dont matter. im saying its not that impressive since they cake walked there. hell the bills who lost 4 superbowls in a row should get a trophy to then huh? after all they actually had to climb over good teams to get there, not tango through one of the easiest schedules in the nation. since when did we start giving out moral victories. you play to win. not to just be there. they didnt win. so, as harsh as it may sound, they failed. history never remembers the loser.

gotham: i dont have ANYTHING against him. it has nothing to do with sec,acc,big ten and all that crap. im just saying that it shouldnt be hard to believe that some fans may honestly prefer their current qb over him. that doesnt mean that there is anything against him.

The Bills did get trophies - the Lamar Hunt Trophy as AFC Champion. The players will probably be remembered for losing the Super Bowl than for winning their conference title for four straight years, but it doesn't make the feat unimpressive. Same with the 1990s Atlanta Braves and their run of dominance in the NL East.

And here we go again bashing the Big Ten. Always bashing the Big Ten. Guess what? They're 3-3 head to head against the "mighty" SEC in bowl games over the past two seasons. Yet no one every seems to want to give them respect. OSU lost two games to two different, superior teams in two given years. All that proves is that the 2006 Gators were better than the 2006 Buckeyes and the 2007 Tigers were better than the 2007 Buckeyes. And they've also won a national title under Tressell, by the way, but no one every seems to mention that.

And Wisconsin. And an up and coming Illinois team. And an always tough Penn State team. How many Big Ten teams were bowl eligible last year? How many did they send? I know they were among the top three conferences in both statistics.

SEC will pretty much be a one horse race with georgia. bama and auburn might have some say in that though. trught is, the big 12 will prolly be the power house next year

My thoughts - maybe this will be the guy that pushes Ohio St to the next level and they will be more competitive in BCS Bowls. Teams that win the big games always have big time QB's and this kid looks "Big Time".

Well, the conference sent 8 teams to bowl games.

Unfortunately for them, they lost five of those, but hey, at least they faired better than the ACC.
