What's a guy gotta do to get some FCS coverage?

Are there any "FCS" football fans out there? Or Division 1-AA as it used to be called. I'm just posting because I was wondering, Does anybody else find it hard to get coverage on FCS these days? Every time I watch ESPN- they're always doing coverage on the BCS- never any on the FCS. It seems like the only source of FCS I ever get is in a newspaper. Hell, it's even kind of hard to find a good website that talks FCS. I can never watch any FCS games on tv because it's always the BCS they're showing on TV. Did I miss something here? Is FCS apparently not good enough for some people? Just wondering if anybody knew any good places to watch FCS games or any good places that I could find coverage on FCS Football.

Thank you.

Hey, FlyersFan, welcome to GoTeamsGo! Yeah, you're not kidding about FCS coverage. Seems like if it's not BCS, it doesn't matter too much to the mainstream media - I-AA, II, III all included. Fox Sports outlets sometimes show some regional games, and I just picked up CSTV on digital cable, so I have high hopes for them this year. I try to follow the Youngstown State Penguins whenever I can (plus the D-3 Mount Union Purple Raiders) but it definitely is an uphill battle. Hey, now that you're on board, maybe we can get some good FCS chat going here this year!

Thanks for the welcome. I notice you're from Ohio too, what part? I'm guessing you have already got the idea that I'm from Dayton, Ohio. I've been a Flyers Football/Basketball fan for awhile now. Dayton's got a Division I AA football team, so that's why I've been following it quite a bit. It seems like ESPN only covers I-AA, II, and III when they're playing their playoff games, but you can never see a regular season game. It is an uphill battle indeed. Seems like the only way to see an FCS football game is to just go see the game in person. I've also heard about that "CSTV" you're talking about. I think I may have to go check that out for myself.

You familiar with Steubenville? I live near there. Closer to Pittsburgh than either Cleveland or Columbus. We get a few games on FSN Pittsburgh for Lehigh and smaller schools in that area, but not much. You hit ESPN dead on, that's why I have high hopes for CSTV, but this'll be my first year with it so its hard to say.
