Enough of this talk about how the SEC is the best, blah blah blah. Lefty posted some stats in another thread, the SEC is not superior to the Big 12, let alone any other.

I'm here to predict the SEC will not have the best bowl record when it's all said and done. I don't know who it will be but I do know it won't be the SEC.

Why not? One thing working against the SEC - they send to many teams bowling - i.e. Alabama at 6 & 6 should have said no thanks. The top 4 or 5 SEC teams will probably win bowl games but the rest ????

The argument is the best against the best - Fla vs Ohio St comes to mind - in fact Ohio St vs the SEC comes to mind - 0 for 8 and Ohio St is the cream of the crop in the Big 10.

The SEC leads the Big Ten with a 63-45-2 all-time record. The SEC has a .582 winning percentage versus the Big Ten.

The SEC leads the Big 12 in all-time head-to-head match-ups with an 17-15-0 (.531) record.

The SEC leads the Pac-10 59-36-5 (.615).

The SEC holds an 245-114-10 (.679) all-time advantage over the ACC.

I didn't look at the damn independents.... sugar cane. Put those two together. Pac-10 can stand on it's own.
