Who do you folks think is the most overrated player in college football today?

Hate to tick off the SEC fans here, but my vote goes for Darren McFadden, for reasons I've mentioned several times before all over the forum.

Yep, you guys are right. He was supposed to be a Heisman favorite. Now I'm not even 100% sure if he's one of the finalists for the Davey O'Brien award.

I said John David Booty was a fake last year and I said it this year. mark sanchez is better. Chad Henne. At least he was.

Not ticked here but - the kid has carried the team for years.

I think Tebow is more deserving of the title overrated. He is more a product of a system, his receivers make him look great because they catch those end over end passes he throws. As I've mentioned elsewhere he built his stats in blow outs - look at his record when he plays top notch teams.

If we're looking at career, then I agree that McFadden isn't overrated. This year, though, he hasn't lived up to the hype.

I got the USC defense, it was made out to be the best defense ever and it has better than average at best.

I actually think he is better this year considering he enters every game with a big bullseye on his jersey, is really banged up, has little support and a QB that can't throw the ball over the centers head. Put him on a team that is balanced and I think he shows the nation what a RB he can be.

put me down for Booty, i can't stand USC and i think that they have no business being in the top 25 and i will elaborate on why i think that if someone would like me to. I think the best candidate for the Heisman right now, IMO, is McFadden, The kid has talent, and he continues to show it, game after game, especially this past weekend!
