TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -Two social fraternities will lose their seats close to the field and new penalties are being imposed after cups were thrown at Georgia players celebrating their overtime victory over Alabama on Sept. 22.
Delta Kappa Epsilon and Theta Chi will be moved farther back into the stands for the next two games at Bryant-Denny Stadium, spokeswoman Cathy Andreen said.
The Office of Judicial Affairs also will begin enforcing new sanctions against students who throw anything at any sporting event on the campus.
