What are everyone's thoughts for the best conference in 2006? Is it going to be the same traditional powers, or does somebody see a new conference emerging to the top this year?

There is a lot of talent again this year in the SEC, and that is where I am putting my money...

You are wise to put your faith in The SEC. Five top fifteen teams every year is hard too match. And we will definitely see that this season with UF, UGA, LSU, Auburn and it is a toss up between South Carolina, Alabama and (if they can get their act together) Tennessee. The better question is, When was the last season the SEC was not the best conference in the country?

I think that there are some other conferences that could contend, BIG 10/12, but they would need another team or two in order to step to the forefront.
