Well, Woodson did lead the SEC in passing yards last year (3,515) while becoming the second QB in Kentucky history to throw at least 30 TDs in a single season. I can see where their excitement is coming from, though I don't believe he's a legit Heisman threat.

Yeah, here's another Heisman thread - 2008 Heisman Hopefuls - where Booty's name's come up. Hard to keep these things straight sometimes.

John David Booty should not be a heismen contender. He had under 30 td's last year more than 5 interceptions. And unless he does outstanding like a 30/5 or 35/5 i dont think he should win. Pete Carrol could take him out and still win games like anything else. A Heismen winner should be the kid that if the team didn't have, the team would have no chance of beating tough teams like Cal LSU VT....etc.
