| Kevin Kolb Pro Day Quarterback Kevin Kolb was a four-year starter at the University of Houston where he shattered numerous school and Conference USA records. Kolb has the size, arm strength and ability to succeed at the next level and is regarded as one of the top players at his position going into the 2007 NFL Draft. Quote:
This is kind of a down time for most of us and especially for me since I have a late Pro Day. So the main thing right now is keeping your body in shape. I'm still working out at the Plex everyday and also throwing a lot with the wide receivers I'll be working out with at my Pro Day on March 23. We're trying to get in sync and get familiar with the types of things we want to do.
Since the combine my days have been pretty similar. During the week I'm in workouts from about 9 a.m. until noon and then I grab a bite to eat. Then I'll come back out to the Plex around 2:30 p.m. and throw until 4:30 p.m. That schedule allows for me to get some body work while also keeping my arm fresh and not over-worked.
When my Pro Day does come, I probably won't run much and will concentrate on throwing. It's all about coming out there and throwing well and showing everyone that I'm comfortable doing everything asked of me. It's your option on what you want to do out there and since I did well in most of the combine timings, I don't have too much to prove at my Pro Day in regards to running.
