| National Signing Day College Football National Signing Day is Wednesday. Usually, as a UNC fan, this day means nothing. But this day is looking real bright for us. With the possible addition of the #1 Defensive Tackle in the nation to the team, among others, this could be a great day. What is your team looking like in recruiting this year?

| Re: National Signing Day Well, sadly WVU is rated at #39 right now at Rivals. No five star commits. The top ten as they have it right now are, in order: Florida, Tennessee, Texas, USC, LSU, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Georgia, Auburn, Nebraska. Oregon at #11 is interesting... looks like the Ducks will have a good class coming in, including 12 four-star athletes. Trojans and Vols currently have the most five-star guys (5 each) followed by the Gators (4).

| Re: National Signing Day UNC has moved up to #28 on scout.com. They have had some commits this weekend. Rivals does not have those guys down yet for UNC. If we get some of the players that there are rumors we may get, we could move to the top 20, maybe even top 25. |

| Re: National Signing Day From everything that I have heard, he is supposed to be a great back. But there were early reports (coming reports I have read on scout.com) that he was going to prep at Milford next year, but I believed that has changed now. This kid apparently has the endorsement of Deion Sanders. |

| Re: National Signing Day Another interesting story that could play out tomorrow is the one of scout.com 4 star rated RB Antwain Easterling. Easterling had consensual sex with a 14 year old at his high school. They both admitted it was consensual but later charges were brought against him for lewd and lascivious battery. He is supposed to enroll in a 26 week program for first time sex offenders that will on completion drop the charges from his record. Now, Rutgers really wants this kid, but there could some bad reactions to taking him. UNC has also been after him hard also. Butch Davis has a record of taking these kids and turning them around. Schiano was an assistant under him at Miami and could do the same thing. This could be a very interesting situation tomorrow. |

| Re: National Signing Day Nothing make or break for Ohio State tomorrow. Deonte Thompson (5-Star) has yet to declare and was in Columbus for the Michigan game, but I doubt he goes to OSU, especially after the poor performance in the National Championship game. However, it is interesting that he went to the same high school Santonio Holmes once called home. Broderick Green (4-Star) is a bruiser that still has interest in Ohio State, but has reportedly given USC a soft verbal. The depth would be nice, but Chris Wells is a full-fledged beast and new recruit Brandon Saine has insane (pun-intended) potential. Kevin Bryant (4-Star) is a mammoth of a man and possesses the strength of a bull. The odds he comes to Columbus are slim to none, but the kid has mauler written all over him. I expect a bunch of 3-star local boys to commit to Ohio State, which is fine with me. Tressel has molded unheralded Ohio prospects into great players. Despite being ranked in the mid-teens by most accounts, I am happy with our class, because Tressel usually translates talent into on-field production and gets players to outproduce their rating between the sidelines. |

| Re: National Signing Day My Oregon Ducks are #8 Scout and 10th or 11th Rivals. We have some major defensive players coming in. I'm talking SEC type of D in the next few years. 11, 4 stars and 11, 3 stars. |
