Hawaii QB Colt Brennan

Here's a scary thought -- Hawaii QB Colt Brennan, a junior, is looking at coming back to play for his senior season. Brennan already owns the NCAA record for NCAA single-season touchdown record with 58 and threw for a school record 559 yards in a win over Arizona State in the Hawaii Bowl on Sunday. Will he come back, and if he does, how many more records should we expect the kid to break?

Whatever happen to their last QB?...Tim Chang...he was a record setter...
who threw for more yardage (17,072) than anyone who ever played collegiate football, and whose 117 career touchdown passes rank second in NCAA history...is he on any NFL team?

Re: Hawaii QB Colt Brennan

I always thought he was coming out after this AMAZING season. I wonder if he'll come out if the NFL Draft Advisory Board (or something like that) tells him he has a 1st round grade. I know lots of people love this kid and think he can be a real productive QB in the pro's.

But why would he return to Hawaii? He did all that was possible and there's no place to go but down from here (just ask Leinart).

Re: Hawaii QB Colt Brennan

Maybe he thinks he can make a run at a Heisman?

It certainly can't be because he thinks the Warriors can make a run at a BCS bowl.

Re: Hawaii QB Colt Brennan

He says he's coming back unless he knows for sure he will be a high pick, but he is viewed in many circles as a product of the offensive system. Funny how June Jones hasn't gotten another look in the NFL as a coordinator, but I guess it would be hard to leave Hawaii.

He was in the Heisman running this year, maybe he thinks he'll have a better chance next year.

Re: Hawaii QB Colt Brennan

I hope he does come back for his senior year. I did not get the opportunity to see him play this year.
