The Mount Union Purple Raiders of Alliance, Ohio, have won their 9th Division III National Championship since 1993. Obviously, I'm a huge fan of this program - its a great school, and coach Larry Kehres is one of the best kept secrets in all of college football. Over 20-plus seasons, he has a better winning percentage than Knute Rockne. Anyone else here a fan of Mount Union?

Haven't followed Mount Union that much but what about their HC for the HC at Bama....sounds like to me he is a winner.

I am a fan of theirs also. I grew up in Alliance, OH. I lived just off the campus, so I got to watch their games for several years. It is amazing that they have all these championships, but it is still fairly easy to get a ticket to a home game.

Hey, glad to see I'm not the only one. The first game I ever attended was a Purple Raider game, back in 1994. I was getting set to graduate from high school and the college sent a recruitment pack that included free tickets to a game against Otterbein. I fell in love with the campus up there. Sadly, I wound up going to college elsewhere, but I've been a fan of the team (and the school) ever since. Kehres is one of the most underrated coaches I've ever seen... how he manages to maintain such success at a Division III private school with no athletic scholarships is beyond me.
