| Re: 1000 yard rushers OK, here's the only vote for Marshawn Lynch. He will definately reach the 1000-yard mark against Arizona this weekend. I hate to say that he is out of the running for the Heisman Trophy this year because he isn't putting up the numbers that he should have. A dismal showing against Tennessee in the first game kinda did him in in that regard. If he does well against the Wildcats and the Trojans, come time for the Stanford game, he might end up with 1500 yards rushing for the season. Chuck, is this question for just pure RB's or for possibly all-around backs? In order to be good in the NFL anymore, a RB needs to be a good receiver as well as a good rusher. I'm reminded of a RB for the 49ers that one year had both 1000 yards rushing and receiving. If a RB is a good all around back, I would call him the best.
