I'm sure it's a question we've all debated, either here, in another forum, at the local sports bar, around the watercooler or elsewhere. But did you guys know that there's actually someone out there keeping a rankings system of the top NCAA college football rivalries? According to this press release, this place StubHub keeps track of the 25 best college football rivalries based on ticket sales demand. | Re: Top College Football Rivarlies Purdue v Notre Dame??? Is that really a big game? I would have A&M v Texas higher up the list, but I am a little biased. Oklahoma v Nebraska used to be a huge rivalry, but since they don't play every year it has sort of fallen off in importance.

| Re: Top College Football Rivarlies When I was a kid, it was Oklahoma-Nebraska. Harvard-Yale obviously doesn't boil anyone's blood anymore, but at one time this game emant something to those outside the Ivy League. I think you define a rivalry's importance nowadays on its ability to get the losing coach fired!
