Hard as it may be to believe, it is indeed true. The Temple Owls beat Bowling Green, 28-14, today to snap their 20-game losing streak. According to the Associated Press, "Temple [1-8] ended the nation's longest losing streak with their first win since a 34-24 victory over Syracuse on Nov. 13, 2004... The victory is Temple's first under new coach Al Golden, whose Owls lost eight straight and were outscored 351-71, allowing 60 points in three losses." It was also payback for a 70-7 thrashing last season.

So what do you think of the Owls? Can they make it two in a row next week Central Michigan?
