The unranked BYU Cougars have upset the #17 TCU Horned Frogs, 31-17, earlier tonight. Brigham Young QB John Beck completed 23 of 37 pass attempts for 323 yards and 3 TDs. What do you guys think of this upset?

I like the Y...its not much of an upset in my book. They get on a roll passing they can take anyone out.

Yeah, Cougars are one of those teams that always plays you tough. Still, anytime an unranked team beats a ranked one, its gotta be considered at least a bit of an upset. Then again, I'd wager BYU is probably ranked come next Monday. What do you guys think?

BYU should not be ranked. They lost to Arizona, who is not very good.

I am suprised that they whipped TCU like they did. TCU is a pretty good team. I was hoping the 'toads would make a little noise come BCS selection time.

they also played BC to ot, so those are two good games for them

now wvu/osu have the longest current winning streak at 11 games

osu plays iowa tommorow night and wvu has the night off so after tommorow only one can have the streak

I wasn't surprised at all, especially after last year's marathon game which they lost by 1 pt. in overtime - even though TCU fumbled on the goal line... I think they just wanted revenge. BYU can play with anyone, but if the game gets tight, John Beck is not going to be the hero. They should be 5-0 right now if they could capitilize when it matters.

Welcome xhenxhe sounds like you are a Cougar fan...how is that top ranked halfback of theirs (Curtis Brown I believe) doing this year? You don't see too many BYU runner break that 1,000 yard mark (this side of Luke Staley).

Anyway, glad to see another Cougar fan.

I think Curtis Brown is a good leader for the team, but I'll tell you, I enjoy watching Fui Vakapuna more. If I need a first down, or short yardage for a TD, I give it to Fui!

Unfortunately, I haven't really gotten to watch much of their games since they new MTN station and Comcast is the only provider to offer it.

When your 234 lb fullback has a 4.4 for the 40, I would say he would be fun to watch...Do you think he will be NFL material?
