The SEC has notified Arkansas officials to let them know game officials made a mistake in calling a 10-yard penalty that helped Florida continue its final touchdown drive of the game in the Gators' 23-20 win on Saturday.
The call was a personal foul for a late hit on Razorbacks defensive tackle Malcolm Sheppard on a first down play with UF at the Arkansas 21. The penalty moved the ball half the distance of the goal line, to the 10.
Jeff Demps scored on the next play to tie the game at 20-20 with 7:27 left in the game. By scoring so early, UF had time to get the ball back and drive for a winning field goal with nine seconds to play.

What good does it do to admit they handed the game over to Florida if they don't do anything about it? Think about this....SEC officials are well aware of the fact that of both Florida and Alabama make it through their regular seasons undefeated, then they know for sure they get 2 teams into BCS Bowl games....one in the BCS Title game and the other likely in the Sugar Bowl. That means an extra $17 million for the conference.....think about it!

Very true... I'm just shocked they admitted to it.

question for you..... Will USC be making their usual appearance at the Rose Bowl this year considering they are not in the title hunt?

Ducks have a big rivalry game this weekend with the Washington Huskies and if they can get past this game with a win...USC vs Oregon Halloween night! Ducks win that game and they are at least in the Rose Bowl barring a total collapse.

Yes they will my friend and always worried about Arizona since Stoops has been there. Even though the Ducks blew out the Wildcats last year...Stoops has beaten the Ducks 3 out of the last 4 years.

Ducks have lost two QB's to broken legs in 2 of those 4 years including Kellen Clemens 2005 and Dennis Dixon 2007 all against the Wildcats. I use to accuse the Wildcats of dirty play but realized it was only coincidence. Yes, Wildcats will be a tough game and think the Wildcats have a great chance at second in the PAC 10! Rosebowl and PAC 10 Champs? Possible but a long shot!

Arizona always wins a game or two they shouldn't, and then loses a game or two they should win. Some year they might actually put it all together.
