1. Texas v Texas A&M
2. Michigan v Ohio State
3. Florida v Florida State
4. Miami v Florida State
5. Tennessee v Alabama

My favorite is Michigan vs. Ohio State. They're natural rivals and the fan bases loathe each other. As a football fan (I don't have a favorite college team), I love watching this yearly match-up.

You are right. These rivalries are what makes College Football so much better than the NFL.

Florida State Vs Miami...

Tohugh I once had a co-worker who was thrown over a balcony at a Tennessee vs Florida game in an after game altercation...they must take their game a tad too serious...the guy (actually two of them) had multple factures...barely lived).

First played in 1895, the Backyard Brawl is an annual football game between the University of Pittsburgh and West Virginia University. On Thanksgiving Day in 2005 the 98th edition of the Backyard Brawl took place, which makes it the 14th oldest college rivalry in the United States. Both schools are currently members of the Big East Conference, making the Backyard Brawl the oldest rivalry in the conference. Through the first 98 games played between these two schools, Pitt leads the series by a 59-36-3 margin.

The game has historically been one of the more intense rivalries in the eastern United States. The rivalry between the two schools is due mainly to proximity. WVU's campus in Morgantown, West Virginia is only about 70 miles (112 km) south of Pittsburgh, and the two schools often compete for the same recruits.

3. army vs navy

6. pretty much all sec teams hate each other
