What opening Games are you most ...........

excited about this year? The first week has some interesting match ups

As a UGA fan I'm looking the Oklahoma St. game. How we play Oklahoma St. on the road may determine the season.

In the SEC you have to love the Bama / VT game.

In the ACC Florida St / Miami looks good.

In the Big East how about Cinn / Rutgers?

In the Big 10 I don't see much of anything compelling.

In the Big 12 I have to say UGA / Ok. St.

In the PAC 10 it has to be the Huskies and LSU.

Going from Yahoo!'s schedule...

OSU vs. UGA will be a good one.
Oregon and Boise St.
Oklahoma vs. BYU
Bama vs. Va. Tech
Missou vs. Illinois could be a sleeper.

Bama Vs Tech - Sorry Tech Bama is gonna have a good season this year but don't count Tech out of this TTU hasnt lost much at all they are still a good team and will still take 3rd in the Bog 12 South

OSU Vs UGA this year OSU is going to down fall in my opinion i have UGA winning big

Oregon Vs Boise State - This is what i am truly excited about i want everybody to watch Oregon shoot up on the charts this year a great way to test them in the beginning of the season

OU Vs BYU - You all say its going to be a good game in my book its going to look like Hawaii in Georgia 2 years ago BYU wont stand a chance

Missouri Vs Illinois - don't worry the new QB from Missouri is going to shock everybody he went to Nebraska's Camp the coaches all said he had the best pocket passing arm in years and having the game in St.Louis will even better for Missouri because their QB is from St.Louis Missouri

FSU Vs Miami - If Miami cant prove themselves in this game they could be in for a horrible season Florida State on the other half could have a decent year its a good rivalry and we will see these guys battle it out

First of all, it's Bama- Tech as in VIRGINIA Tech, LOL. I would love to see Texas Tech- Alabama though.
This game is being played in the Georgia dome. Gotta say 'Bama. Better coach, better skill receivers, and will have a bigger home crowd advantage.
Something like 27-17 Alabama.

OSU- UGA. I think Oklahoma State will be able to score all over Georgia. If Georgia holds them below 30 points, UGA has a legitimate shot at winning. I don't and won't ever beleive anything about an "improved defense" for Oklahoma State.
45-28 Oklahoma State

Oregon- Boise State. Uglyness clashes. Boise's blue field + Oregon's uniforms. Ugh. Might not even watch. But I'll pick Boise by a TD.
35- 28 Boise

OU- BYU. OU will slaughter them. They will score on every drive in the 1st half except 1 and will shut BYU out for the first half. Everyone will be walking around and admiring the new stadium by the time the second half starts.
63-21 OU

Missouri- Illinois.
tossup

Miami-FSU. Who cares?

Hey, my old friend Lefty is posting on here again. Are you back to stay? I like your opening games and look forward biasly to the Oregon vs Boise St game on a ESPN Thursday night game. BSU is an incredible 62-2 in the last few years on what is called their all Blue field stadium. I love the fact the Ducks are 6 point underdogs currently and they will be ready for this game, trust me. I expect a lot of points put on the board in this game.

Oklahoma vs BYU really intrigues me. Hey Sooner fans, do not take lightly a rejuvenated Cougar program who is now very well coached, recruited very well and the results have shown the last 3 seasons. Sooners at home should win this but would not even shock me to see an upset here.

Crimson Tide vs Hokies: I have never liked the Hokies because they always have the worst out of conference schedule every year (patsies). I am now shocked they are taking on Alabama. Nice improvement. Go Crimson Tide!

Cowboys vs Bull Dogs: Ducks beat OSU last year in Holiday Bowl. Cowboys may be too much for the Bull Dogs this year with many players coming back but will be a close game I predict. Since I live in Big 12 country currently, go Cowboys!

Tigers vs Fighting Ilini: I really like the Tigers but will have a test losing a lot of talent from the last couple years. It will be a test to see how good the Tigers have recruited. Have to go with Fighting Illini with many good players coming back.

FSU vs Miami: Sure isn't the big game it use to be but worth watching. Isn't this Bobby Bowden's last year coaching? The secondary battle for state of Florida. Hurricanes are so overdue for a great season...maybe this is it.

Some great opening games for sure, let the College Football Season begin!

Mizzou-Illinois is consistently one of the most exciting Week 1 games every year.
