Let's play Love It/ Like It/ Hate It

1. The BCS
2. "College Football Gameday" on ESPN
3. Neutral-site regular season games
4. Thursday night games
5. Conference championship games
6. Coach's video challenges
7. Instant replay/official review
8. Post-season award ceremonies
9. The "spread" offense
10. Throwback uniforms

1. Like it. It's not perfect, but ever is.
2. Love it. Lee Corso drives me nuts, and the head gear is kinda lame, but a good start to a good Saturday. It's really fun to be on the set, especially after a game. The fans are the best part about it though. The signs, both insulting Lee Corso or the opponent, the Washington State faithful flag. Oh, I can't wait for fall.
3. Hate it. The Red River Shootout is meant to be played at the Cotton Bowl during the Texas State Fair. Texas A&M- Arkansas at the Cowboys' stadium? Oklahoma-BYU at the Cowboys' Stadium? Give me back my home games!
4. Like it. The games aren't usually the best, but I love seeing the upsets that always seem to play out on Thursday night. I hate waking up the next day for Friday classes
5. Love it. I think everyone should be forced to play one.
6. Love it, gives coaches situational reviews.
7. Hate it. They still get it wrong. See: Oregon- Oklahoma, etc, etc. It slows down the game too much. Instead, give coaches more challenges and do not review "every play".
8. Hate it. Give the trophy and go on. ESPN makes a cirucs out of the Heisman trophy ceremony. It's ridiculous.
9. Like it. Exciting but I love to see the old fashion hard-nose running game.
10. Like it. Although, some are really ugly. It's a talking point and fun to watch.

Re: Let's play Love It/ Like It/ Hate It

we mostly agree so far.

1. Preseason rankings
2. AP rankings
3. USA today (Coach's Poll) rankings
4. New clock rules (similar to the NFL)
5. No huddle offense

1. Like it. No fuss here. There is only one reason to complain-- if you're Auburn in 2004. If you don't go undefeated, you shouldn't have the luxury to complain about not being in the title game. Some have called foul play based on their preseason ranking, but I'm not buying it. You play a good non-conference schedule, play in a competitive conference, you *deserve* the spot in the title game, you'll be there.
2. Hate it. I can't stand the hold that the press has over college football. ESPN owns the multi-million dollar business.
3. Hate it. The votes should be made public. This year they have even made the last week of the season before the bowls a private ballot. This is outrageous. Coaches that hold grudges because they got their feelings hurt when wittle rival coach "ran up the score" can completely leave that rival off their ballot (COUGH Mack Brown COUGH). Coaches don't even fill out their ballots anyway. It's just irresponsible to have no oversight.
4. Still not sure. Was weird the first year, cool in some games, horrible in others. Stop taking our game away!! It keeps getting shorter and shorter.
5. Hate it if it's not a hurryup no-huddle, love it if it's a hurry up no huddle. What's the point of a no huddle if you're going to take the play clock down to the waning seconds?

Re: Let's play Love It/ Like It/ Hate It

1. Preseason rankings - Gets me even more excited
2. AP rankings - Needs to go why put people like Lee Corso in charge?
3. USA today (Coach's Poll) rankings - I'm so so on this it should be public
4. New clock rules (similar to the NFL) - Gives us all more for are buck
5. No huddle offense - It puts excitement in the game its good
