then why arent we complaining about kansas blowing out texas a&m earlier this year? or gardener-webb blowing out kentucky? i guess that was ok since it wasnt carolina.

if other teams dont wanna get blown out, they should play some defense. or recruit better players. try new offensive schemes. or maybe get a better coach. not ask the other team to take it easy. its sports , not a tea party.

Why doesn't a team that is blowin out another take the opportunity to pull it's starters and let it's younger inexperienced players get some on court time? If your slammin a team already, there is no since overkillin it.

It was one person's opinion that they thought Carolin runs the score up. Their opinion. If you don't like it, then don't. Leave it at that and don't go any further. You like Carolina, I don't. It's simple enough. No need to make claims of "hating" or "hatorade" just cause you see someone slammin your team.

Gee golly gosh fellas ... it's just college b-ball. When the alarm clock goes off in the morning your lives aren't gonna be changed by the outcome of a basketball game. If it is then you've got big problems.

Now we do permit team bashing but everyone needs to make sure the line isn't crossed where it turns into fighting among ourselves. Lets talk about the game, complain that our first choice didn't make it and the price of gasoline.

As for running up the score .... I hate this discussion. As a Pats fan I listened to it a lot this past season. Like it or not there is no rule in college or the pros that says you must limit the number of points that you win by. If you can find a ruling that tells it differently then we have a discussion. Anything beyond that is an opinion and we just simply need to respect everyones opinion. It's what we are about.

sorry quality88. i didnt know im supposed to deal with everyone else's opinion but not voice my own. and i didnt know it was "making a claim" when you said it yourself . but if something ever happens and i start bashing kentucky you have no reason do defend your team. you should jsut deal with it

Voice your opinion you can, but you get a little overboard. I have had people bash Kentucky all the time, but I never go into the way you did in defendin them. I just respond with something about how many national titles they have and etc, etc. Then I move on. It's that simple for me. If you want to bash Kentucky, go for it. That's the beauty of this forum. I'll deal with it just fine.

The main focal point for this forum is to talk sports. In doing so we toss our opinion out for all to see and discuss. In that discussion it is perfectly fine to say that I disagree and this is why ....... No where should any of us be informing one another that our point of view is unacceptable. More than once I have expressed opinions only to change my perspective because of other points of view.

Lets get realistic here before this thread gets closed. Express your thoughts, hopes and opinions and be willing to accept all the others. It's really not that difficult. If it is then just move on to the next thread and talk sports. This isn't a metal cage where we need to defend our honor until death.
