Davidson Wildcats looking for respect

The Davidson Wildcats feel like they are one of the top teams in the country, but because they are in the Southern Conference they didnt get the national attention they thought they deserved.
They have the nation's longest winning streak at 22.
Their star player, Stephen Curry, is unknown to basketball fans despite being one of the nation's top scorers. He had 40 points against Gonzaga, and 30 points against Georgetown. He is the first player to score 40 points or more in the NCAA tournament since 2004.
Davidson is 10th seed, are 28-6 over all.
They face the Wisconsin Badgers in the Midwest Region Semifinals on Friday March 28 at 7:10 pm. at Ford Field in Detroit Michigan.
The Badgers are seeded at no. 3 and are 25-9 overall.

Will the Wildcats stop the Badgers?

They way they're playing, they won't be unknown for much longer. If I were a Wisconsin Badger fan, I'd be very, very concerned right now.

Re: Davidson Wildcats looking for respect

As a fan, I have been worried ever since I read up on this team. This could be their hardest challenge thus far.

I actually picked them to go to the Sweet 16, but I don't have them getting past Wisconsin.

I should have a column on this team later today or tomorrow morning.
