| Race is tight from top to bottom Just three games separate 11 teams in the unpredictable Big East, where teams are jammed from second to 11th place. "This is something we're all getting used to in this league," Pittsburgh coach Jamie Dixon said. "I think we're going to see people beating up each other for years to come." Teams still are adjusting to the league's expansion to 16 teams and this season's 18-game conference schedule, Dixon said.
