Gonzaga forward Adam Morrison is expected to go pro. The a first-team All-America and the nation's leading scorer has called a press conference tomorrow to make the announcement. I've heard he's a top 5 pick. What kind of future does he have in the NBA?

Even if he isn't ready, his stock will never be higher. The draft is much deeper next year as well so while he is top five in 2006 he might slip to low first round/early second if he were too stay in college.

Agreed - anytime you're a top 5 pick, you need to make the move, especially if you won't be the following year. He was the NCAA's top scorer. That's kind of hard to improve upon. Still, I wonder how he will adjust to the pro game.

He seems to have a good enough work ethic...he should adjust...like any young player, we will shake our collective heads at some bone head plays earlier on...but he should be okay...I doubt that he is a top 5 player on just plain speculation.

I think he will definitely get picked in the top 5. He has the skills as well as the body to make it in the NBA.

He's got 2 major problems: 1) He plays no defense 2) He's a slight nutcase - I mean the guy was crying when UCLA took the lead in his final game BEFORE the game was over.

I think he defends well enough to be a top five pick. With his offensive skills somebody will take an early pick on him...

This could be the worst class of players ever, so Morrison will go high. I don't know how his game will translate in the NBA, but he is tall enough to get his shot off. I would like to see him wind up somewhere with a chance to succeed.
