Gay's going to the NBA

UCONN's top forward, Rudy Gay, announced that he will pass up his last two college years to enter the NBA early. He is taking a giant step forward. What round and team do you think he will get drafted by?

Re: Gay's going to the NBA

Another thing a lot of people forget about is the pool of foreign players. They usually take up a good chunk of picks in the mid first round...

How does this make Isiah Thomas look, who when he traded the Knicks first pick in the upcoming draft for Eddie Curry said: "I don't think there's anyone who could be drafted who is as good as Curry."

Re: Gay's going to the NBA

Rudy Gay would be fantastic if he had even a semblance of character.

Re: Gay's going to the NBA

Gay will be a good pro. I don't think he saw eye to eye with Jim Calhoun, although nothing was ever reported. He simply did not live up to all the hype, disappearing in big spots. But he has a mid range jumper and the athletic ability it takes to make it in the NBA, now he just needs to add the maturity.
