2007 Final Four

Lets start the insanity, who does everyone have in next year's final four? Assume all underclassmen who haven't declared themselves eligible for the NBA draft are returning:

Ohio State: It's a home pick but it is warranted.

Texas: I loathe this team but if Aldrige, Tucker and the whole gang return they can definitely compete. They also have two high school All-Americans coming in that looked really sharp in the All American game.

North Carolina: With everyone returning minus David Noel and the second strongest recruiting class in the country, they are prime too compete for their second title in three years.

Florida: Their stand-out sophomores seem legitimately undecided. If they all return they are pre-season #1.

Re: 2007 Final Four

This is no fun, cjg11582. I find myself mostly agreeing with your picks. OSU and North Carolina are definitely Final Four favorites next year, and its hard to discount a sophomore-heavy Florida team that just won the title.

Even Texas is a good pick, but there's some obscure forum rule somewhere I think that says I have to disagree with you a little bit, so I'll veer off course here and say Tennessee, with G Chris Lofton leading the way. They should also have G Dane Bradshaw, who was tied for the team lead in assists per game, and C Major Wingate, the team's leader in field goal percentage and blocked shots, returning, so they should be mighty tough coming out of the SEC in 2006-07.

Re: 2007 Final Four

Haha, I find it funny you didn't even mention UCLA. That loss they endured last night was worse than I thought.
But there are plenty of other teams, though those four are probably the favorites. UConn, Wisconsin, Washington (if Brandon Roy stays) and Pitt are all teams that have the talent and determination to make the final four next year.

Re: 2007 Final Four

Well, I considered UCLA. Also UConn, Washington, Duke and WVU. I know the Blue Devils are losing a lot, but they always seem to reload every year and they've just about always got to be considered one of the better teams in college hoops.
