Billy Packer

After Billy Packer's self righteous tirade about mid-major conferences receiving too many at-large bids, can he still show his face in public? I mean, I know he will but shouldn't he be a little embarassed about it? The MVC has more teams in the sweet 16 than the Big Ten, the Big Twelve, Conference USA, and as many as the SEC, ACC and Pac-10. I mean, of all the at-large bids I believe 26 went to power conferences and 8 went to the mid majors. Is that really so egregious? And who was the biggest snub? Hofstra, who beat George Mason twice within the last ten days of the regular season.

No one, and I mean no one, likes Billy Packer.

Re: Billy Packer

Since you brought up a CBS analyst, do you know who Seth Davis is? Did he play B-ball in grade school or something?

Re: Billy Packer

At least Billy Packer gave props to the mid majors he had dogged last week. I also was happy that he didn't jump on the Villanova bandwagon and called a pretty good game with Arizona. Usually he gives us no credit at all. Them guards at Nova were incredible yesterday and hit a big shot every time they needed one.
