| Re: 2010 NCAA Men's Basketball Rankings (Nov. 6) It is hard to believe that NCAA basketball is just around the corner but here it comes. I can only ask questions about missing teams with the first poll for the 2009/2010 season. No UCLA or Stanford? No Florida? No Gonzaga? Any other teams that you may be surprised that is up there or not up there? |

| Re: 2010 NCAA Men's Basketball Rankings (Nov. 6) You know, I forgot all about Arizona...shame on me! I am trying to remember, Lute Olson retired last year didn't he? Do the voters think the Wildcats are going to collapse as a result? |

With all the coaching turmoil, it took a toll on Arizona's recruiting the last few years. Chase Budinger and Jordan Hill both left for the NBA which leaves Arizona with only 1 senior and 1 junior on the roster. Of the 5 sophomores, only Kyle Fogg made a significant contribution to last year's team. Sean Miller did manage to bring in a solid class in very limited time by bringing in 5 Top 100 recruits in about a month's time before signing day. Put it all together and you can see why the voters are skeptical. Here in Tucson many are worried that Arizona's streak of 25 consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances may sadly come to an end this year. It all rests on how quickly Sean Miller can mold all the new recruits along with Kyle Fogg, Nic Wise, and Jamelle Horne into a team. |

| Re: 2010 NCAA Men's Basketball Rankings (Nov. 6) Thanks for the update desertrat as I was not totally updated on the Wildcat status this year. I think the Ducks could potentially be the darkhorse this season with 5 starters coming back, meaning all sophomores who played last season on a last place team. The talent is there to compete but need to prove it this season by winning. Yes, strange to not see the AZ Wildcats up there and many other teams that are now up there that should not at this point. Lets see what all plays out here? |
