| Travis Hafner grand slam record In yesterday's game with the Royals, Travis Hafner of the Cleveland Indians tied a major league record by hitting his sixth grand slam of the season. Hafner tied Don Mattingly's mark by clearing the bases as part of an 11-run first inning against Kansas City. Think Hafner will be able to get one more and set a new grand slam record by the end of the year?

| Re: Travis Hafner grand slam record That's pretty amazing. It seems everyone and their mother has been able to hit a grand slam this year. But getting 6 in a single season (so far), that's pretty good. I don't see why he wouldn't be able to break Donny Baseball's record. |

| Re: Travis Hafner grand slam record I agree with ThePundit, as usual. That record is based on luck. How often are the bases loaded and a batter is standing at the plate? I don't think a grand slam is a one-player accomplishment since it could've been only a solo-homer if his teammates didn't chip in. |
