Ronnie Belliard traded

The Cleveland Indians have traded 2B Ronnie Belliard to the St. Louis Cardinals for IF Hector Luna. Belliard was batting .291 with eight homers and 44 RBIs in 93 games for Cleveland, according to the AP, while Luna started 34 times at second and is hitting .291 with four homers and 21 RBIs. Luna will be an everyday player for the Tribe, most likely stepping right into Belliard's vacated second base role. Thoughts about this deal?

Belliard looks like a mini-Manny, but does not hit like one. He also doesn't hustle alot from what I've seen of him. That will change where he's going.

Actually, Belliard was much more of a quality player for the Indians than he was for the Cardinals. Luna was a pretty average player for the Tribe and a surprisingly disappointing defensive player. Joe Inglett, a career minor leaguer, got most of the starts at second, over Luna. The Indians are actually considering bringing Belliard back for next season.
