The Cleveland Indians have traded first baseman Ben Broussard and cash to the Seattle Mariners in exchange for minor league outfielder Shin-Soo Choo and a player to be named later. Another trade I'm not crazy about; I thought Broussard had real promise, and I know nothing about Choo. He any good?

Choo has a number of strengths. He is a good fielder, with above average speed. He will probably play when the opponent's starter is a right-hander in 2007. Broussard, unfortunately, was a hot-and-cold hitter. They gave him every chance to get his act together, but he never really did.
